Day 1

Arrival at Rovaniemi , the official home of Santa Claus

Once you land, you will be directly transferred to Glass Igloos located in the Arctic Circle. It is far from the city lights of the Town of Rovaniemi Lapland. On a clear sky day you can get lucky enough to sight a great Northern Lights show. You will have dinner at the ice restaurant and spend the night in the glass igloos, underneath open skies.

Day 2

City Tour of Rovaniemi , Visiting Santa Claus Village

Post breakfast you will set out for a city tour. You can meet Santa Claus and cross the magical Arctic Circle. Yes, it is not just during Christmas that you get lucky to meet Santa. He spends his entire year in the village to enhance the well being of children and kindness of grown-ups, spreading the message of love and goodwill.
Post lunch you will visit the Arktikum Museum. It will enlighten you on Arctic issues and stories of Lapland. It will educate you on the Lappish culture, history and nature from Rovaniemi to the further reaches of Upper Lapland. It is a complete source of knowledge when travelling to the North. Overnight in Glass Igloos.

Day 3

Tour to Ranua Zoo

Ranua Wildlife Park will give you the opportunity to observe arctic animals in their natural habitat. It houses almost 50 species of wild animals. The tour is around a 2.5km magical walk in the forests. It is an outdoor set up hence you need to prepare yourself with adequate clothing. After the zoo visit you can have your lunch and spend some time shopping in the small boutiques.
Get ready for an exciting Night Reindeer Safari searching for Auroras. Have a seat in the sled with a blanket to keep you warm and you are off! The reindeer sled winds through silent forests and amidst the peaceful night you might just get lucky to experience the most amazing nature’s treat. On the way you can stop to take pictures and warm yourselves around a bonfire, and enjoy a cup of hot juice, while you wait for the auroras to show up. Overnight in Arctic Snow Hotel.

Day 4

Luosto Amethyst Mine. Transfer to Levi

We stop at the Luosto Amethyst Mine before we head towards Levi. This amethyst area of Lampivaara was born 2,000 million years ago in the bowels of the ancient mountains. This is Europe’s only active Amethyst mine. The mine is located on the top of Lampivaara hill.
Reach Levi and get ready for your next adventure- “Looking for Northern Light”
We will not give unless you spot the northern lights atleast once during your stay. This time set out on Snowmobiles to discover the snowy forests in the night. The guide will help you light a bonfire and enjoy a picnic, while waiting for the Northern Lights to appear. You can grill the famous Finnish “Makkara”, sausages on the fire and drink it with Lappish hot berry juice to keep you warm. Overnight in Levi.

Day 5

Ice Fishing Experience

Post breakfast, set out on a breathtaking tour on Snowmobiles through deep forests and explore the beautiful area around Levi. Drill a hole in the ice and try to “catch” your own lunch.

Day 6

Skiing and Shaman Show

Post breakfast, head to the Ski school. Gear up for either mountain skiing or if you are a pro, for a cross- country skiing.
You can spend the evening watching the presentation on ‘shaman’ practices. Overnight in Levi.

Day 7

Reindeer and Husky Farms visit

Today during your visit to the reindeer farm, you will get to experience the spirit and distinctive feature of the life of Samis. You can meet the reindeers and even feed them. You can talk to the farm hosts and learn about their lives. That is not all! You get to ride your own reindeer sleigh.
Had enough fun already? There is some more adventure in store for you! You cannot leave Finland without handling your own team of huskies. You will be welcomed to the farm with friendly husky barks and once you are set to depart on the sledges, they very efficiently will calm down and get to work. Hold on tight, these huskies love to run! Enjoy the silence enveloping the surroundings. After the safari, you can take out your cameras and capture the beauty around you. Pet the adorable huskies as you say goodbye to them. Overnight in Levi.

Day 8

Snowmobile Safari to Snow Village

You will receive all necessary clothing and driving instructions to set off by snowmobiles. On the way you will drive across open lakes, bog lands and through the snowy Lappish forests. Upon arrival to Lainio Snow village you will be greeted by a huge snowy igloo which is packed with beautifully decorated rooms, an ice bar and an ice restaurant. After your guide has shown you around the village made entirely from snow and you have admired the beautiful ice sculptures it is time to time to enjoy a tasty lunch in a cozy wooden restaurant. After lunch you will return to the snowmobiles and venture back through the breath taking Lappish scenery to Levi.

Day 9


Post breakfast get ready for some Skiing activity. Levi Ski Resort is the biggest ski resort in Finland and known especially as a snow-guaranteed resort and alpine World Cup resort and maintains the official cross-country skiing and snowmobile tracks. They offer wide and high-quality selection of skiing. Whether experienced skier, or beginner, the resort has activities and slopes for everyone! You will be transferred to Rovaniemi at the end of the day.

Day 10


The Sampo, the former icebreaker for the Finnish government, offers a unique cruise experience on the Gulf of Bothnia. The union of the majestic steel, ice and the sea will be unlike anything else you’ve ever experienced. It’s your day to experience the Sampo in the midst of vast open arctic sea-scenery!

Day 11


It is time to bid goodbye and head towards your hometown. You go back with an everlasting memory and with a promise to come back soon!
