Jordan is an experience that will either become a remarkable ‘forever’ memory or a journey that you would crave to experience time and again. It is a Middle Eastern ethereal gem that transcends your heart and soul into a space-time where all things feel, just perfect.
On arrival in Rio de Janeiro, your tour guide will greet you and take you to your hotel in Copacabana. Rio, one of the highlights of your Brazil customized holiday package, has been referred to as the marvellous city for over a century now. The city’s unique beauty, vibrant cultural scene, and geographical diversity of mountains, tropical forest, and stunning beaches have long inspired artists and composers from all over the world. It is the perfect setting, not only for the creatives, but also for adventure travellers, nature lovers, and culture enthusiasts. It is difficult to get enough of the city once you have arrived. Settle down in your hotel, rest for a few hours and spend the evening taking in the sights, the sounds, the smells and the surroundings of one of the most exciting cities in the world!
This part of your Brazil custom tour package comprises of a visit to the two most famous spots of the city – the Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer with a professional trip planner. Your day will start with a walk along the Claudio Coutinho track and this hike takes approximately 45 minutes. At the end of the trail, you will take the cable car to the top of Pão de Açúcar (Sugar loaf). Enjoy the beautiful sights from this point and after lunch, head towards the Corcovado Peak and Christ the Redeemer statue. The peak is 710 m high and one of the most famous places in the world for Christ the Redeemer statue. Enjoy the fantastic panoramic view of the city and feel proud for having ticket a very important landmark in your bucket list before returning to your hotel.
On your third day, leave before dawn and wait for the sun of the new day to appear on the horizon from the top of Morro Dois Irmãos. We have included this spot in your Brazil custom tours package as it’s an iconic rock formation at the end of a beach offering a breath-taking hiking experience and one of the most amazing views of Rio de Janeiro. Waiting for the sunrise is probably one of the most fascinating experiences you could get in Rio de Janeiro. Then, bask in the laid-back beach culture of some of the world’s best beaches in Leblon. In the afternoon, check out Rodrigo de Freitas Lake and Botanical Garden. Then make your way to Pedra do Sal, a historical and religious site in Rio de Janeiro believed to be the birthplace of Samba.
Check out of your hotel and proceed towards the airport to catch a two-hour flight to one of the most awaited destinations of your personalized itineraries in Brazil – Salvador. Founded in the 1500s by Portuguese colonials, this beautiful city is famous for its Afro-Brazilian culture, charming neighborhoods, baroque churches and tropical coastline. Filled with 18th-century architecture and pulsating with dance and music, it’s a city that is easy to dive into but hard to escape. The historic centre of Salvador known as Pelourinho is extremely charming with cobblestone streets that wind past open-air caipirinha bars, Afro-Bahian souvenir stores, and squares filled with musicians and dancers. A leisurely stroll around the Pelourinho will make you see why it has also been a magnet for music video producers hosting shoots by performers like Michael Jackson and Paul Simon.
Spend the entire day getting to know Salvador. Head to the Museum of Modern Art (which also hosts live jazz on Saturdays), the Afro-Brazilian Museum etc. Music is a huge part of Salvador’s life, and there are plenty of places to catch live shows from bistros like Casa de Mãe Iemanja to the far larger Bahia Café Hall. The coast of Bahia is home to some of the finest beaches in Brazil, including Arembepe (20 miles to the north), which was home to a famous 1960s counter-cultural community. Not many cities can match Salvador’s sunset vistas. Take the historic Elevador Lacerda (public urban elevator) to the upper city, and enjoy a glass of wine as the sun dips below the Baía de Todos os Santos (Bay of all Saints), the principal bay of the Brazilian state of Bahia.
Today, you will leave Salvador and head towards the Iguazu Falls located on the border between Brazil and Argentina. Iguazu Falls is a 5-7 hour flight from Salvador. On arrival in Foz do Iguaçu, you will be transferred to your hotel. Relax for a bit and get ready to explore the falls from the Brazilian side on a cycle, a curated travel experience to get you most out of this unique trip in Brazil. Accompanied by a tour guide, you will pedal for about 10 km to the beginning of the Brazilian side of the falls and witness the incredible 275 waterfalls that make up the Iguaçu Falls! You can even choose to get a grander perspective of the falls via a helicopter ride, making the experience of visiting the falls even more exciting and unforgettable!
After breakfast, get ready to visit the Iguaçu Falls in all its glory — recognized among the seven natural wonders of the world, from the Argentinean side. The Iguaçu Falls is the most visited natural attraction in the province of Misiones and one of Argentina’s most impressive destinations. You will explore the jungle and falls together on a boat tour. The journey begins in a vehicle through the jungle followed by a boat waiting to take you through the lower Iguaçu River canyon towards the waterfalls. You can view sets of both the Brazilian and Argentine side falls from here. After being mesmerized enough at the falls, return to your private vehicle that will bring you back to your hotel on the Brazilian side of the falls. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
After breakfast, check out and proceed towards airport for a two hour flight to Sao Paulo, a megapolis in the true sense of the word. It is South America’s largest city, and you will feel the vibrating atmosphere no matter where you go. São Paulo is a massive and overwhelming city with loads to see and do. With two days to spend in Sampa, you will have enough time to explore the city’s art and architecture, wander around its atmospheric neighborhoods, sample Brazilian cuisine and enjoy the nightlife. The Ibirapuera Park is the biggest green space in Sao Paulo. This two kilometre park serves as the hub of all cultural activities that brings everyone together- a lifeline of the city. Most of the major museums of the city are also located around Ibirapuera Park.
One of the best things to do in Sao Paulo is to walk along Paulista Avenue. This busy skyscraper-lined avenue is in the heart of the city where you will find shops, restaurants, live music, street performers, museums, and cultural centers. It is the perfect place to start your Sao Paulo itinerary. One of the most famous buildings on this street is the Sao Paulo Museum of Art or MASP, which is globally recognized for its collection of European art. If you’re into street art and colorful murals, Beco do Batman or ‘Batman Alley’ is a place you’re going to love. This winding pedestrian street in the Vila Madalena neighborhood is essentially an open-air gallery showcasing some of the most impressive graffiti art in the city. It also makes for a great place for some Instagram photos!
