Perhaps we can say that God is everywhere but loves to live in Africa! So come, breathe in the tranquility and prepare to fall in love like never before. It’s time you travel through the world’s second largest continent, visit the world’s highest sand dunes (Big Daddy) in Namibia, explore the lush water world of the Okavango Delta in Botswana, ride an Ostrich in Oudtshoorn, feel awestruck at Victoria Falls, and pay tribute to Nelson Mandela in Cape Town. This is just the tip of the ice-berg. So, what are you waiting for? Waka waka… this time for Africa!

Itinerary

DAY 01 – DAY 03

Namibia – Etosha National Park

“Wander often to realise there’s so much to wonder at!” With this thought, we start this epic Namibia trip from the city of Windhoek. A unique trip through the capital city of Windhoek will follow, post which you will head towards the peerless Etosha National Park. Proclaimed a national game reserve in the year 1907 by the then German Governor of the region, Dr F von Lindqvist, Etosha’s essence lies in the vast Etosha Pan that covers almost a quarter of the entire park. It’s such an enormous, flat, and saline desert that when it rains, it’s converted into a shimmering lagoon. This lagoon is accompanied by many distinctive waterholes in the park that ensure visitors catch a glimpse of amazing wildlife making a stop to quench their thirst. You can spot the elusive black rhino, lions, black faced impala, and zebras amidst others.

DAY 04 – DAY 08

Namibia – Walvis Bay, Swakopmund, Sossusvlei

From Etosha, your tour guide will take you to the port town of Walvis Bay, which is home to Sandwich Harbour where dunes up to 100-metre-high plunge dramatically into the Atlantic Ocean. The place is often crowded with hordes of flamingos and is also one of five Ramsar [wetlands conservation] sites in Namibia. Our Namibia custom tours are planned in such a way that once you are here, you will be overwhelmed by the sweeping beauty of Namibia’s various hot spots like Namib Desert. One of your most important stopovers will be at Sossusvlei, which translates to ‘dead-end marsh’. Sossusvlei is where the desert meets the Tsauchab River. Here, you will get to do some adventures like climbing the Big Daddy Dune, one of the tallest sand dunes in the world!

DAY 09 – DAY 13

South Africa – Springbok, Cape Town, Hermanus

Next up is your South Africa tour. South Africa is often referred to as the ‘World in One Country’, and deservedly so. From flat-topped Table Mountain down to the blue waters of Table Bay, Cape Town is simply stunning. As you explore South Africa’s most romantic and most beautiful city, lose yourself in the vibe of the city and fall in love with your new self! Pay tribute to Nelson Mandela with a visit to Robben Island where he was jailed for 18 of his 27 years in exile. Then head to the town of Hermanus via Cape Peninsula and witness nature’s masterful artistry like the Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope, both of which are a part of the Cape Peninsula. You will continue your travel towards Hermanus where activities like Whale watching and Shark Cage diving will keep your adrenaline levels high!

DAY 14 – DAY 20

South Africa – Cape Agulhas, Garden Route, Oudtshoorn, Kruger NP

On the fourteenth day of your South Africa customized holiday package, you will reach Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa where South Africa’s two oceans meet. This and skydiving in Mossel Bay are a part of our curated travel experiences that’ll make you push your limits as you fly high in the sky! You will go to Oudtshoorn, one of the most visited tourist places along the Garden Route to explore one of the many Ostrich Farms. Swing back in action and proceed towards one of the world’s greatest destinations for wildlife-viewing, the incredible Kruger National Park via Colesburg & Johannesburg. It’s home to not one or a few but almost all of Africa’s exemplary safari species – elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, buffalos, giraffes, hippos and zebras along with many other mammals and a stupendous variety of birds.

DAY 21 – DAY 23

Zimbabwe – Victoria Falls

After ensuring that you have had your fill of intense natural encounters with wildlife of all manner, we begin our Zimbabwe trip. First stop Victoria Falls, one of the world’s largest waterfalls. It’s going to be a life-changing experience as The Falls overwhelm you in the best way possible with its stunning, cascading beauty. Known in the 1800’s by the title of ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ [The Smoke that Thunders], the ‘greatest curtain of falling water in the world’ is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and situated on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. This breathtakingly gorgeous natural wonder on the Zambezi River is also the world’s only waterfall with a length of over a kilometre and a height of over 100 metres. With our Zimbabwe customized holiday package, rest assured that you will get to explore Zimbabwe like never before!

DAY 24 – DAY 26

Botswana – Chobe Np, Baobab Tree Forest, Makgadikgadi Plains

Now, we are going to go to a place that’s well known for having some of the best wilderness and wildlife areas on the African continent – Botswana. 38% of its total land area are devoted to national parks, reserves and wildlife management areas. From Victoria Falls, you will cross the border and travel to Kasane in Botswana. It has one ace up its sleeve – Chobe National Park. This amazing safari destination is most famous for its large herds of elephants and cape buffalo. En route to Gweta, you’ll pass through the extraordinary Baobab Tree Region in Makgadikgadi. Indisputably one of Earth’s most impressive variety of trees, the Baobabs comprise 40–75% water and act like succulents. There are some magnificent specimens of these vintage trees in Botswana that have stood the test of time, with some of them foretold to have lived for several thousands of years.

DAY 27 – DAY 28

Botswana – Maun, Okavango Delta

Your final stop in Botswana will be Maun where you will get a chance to explore the wilderness around in a private chartered flight. Just imagine the vast, sprawling spread of forests and birds and animals in all its glory as you fly over them! Expect the unexpected with our personalized Itineraries of Botswana! Visit the world’s largest inland delta, Okavango, which is best viewed once skyborne. Okavango is also known as the ‘Last Eden on Earth’. It’s home to some of the world’s most endangered species of large mammals such as the cheetah, white rhinoceros, black rhinoceros and African wild dog amongst others. Flying at a height of approximately 500 feet above ground level with gorgeous scenery below, you’ll get to view the vast and varied landscape of the delta from an incredible aerial perspective. Feel like you’re on cloud nine already?

DAY 29 – DAY 30

…And Back To Where It All Started

You will return to Windhoek from where you started your incredible African journey. After driving through Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana you will know that this unique trip can aptly be described as a sensual spectacle unlike any other you’ve witnessed before. After being thoroughly astounded and enthralled by the irresistible beauty of the Mother Continent, you will proudly call yourself a child of Africa. And you will be back, for it’s impossible to stay away for a long time from The Mother Nature who looks after us, isn’t it?
