ROAD TO LONDON
Jordan is an experience that will either become a remarkable ‘forever’ memory or a journey that you would crave to experience time and again. It is a Middle Eastern ethereal gem that transcends your heart and soul into a space-time where all things feel, just perfect.
Welcome to Cape Town, referred to as “a dream location to visit” by the Forbes list of Top 50 places to travel in the world. The first glimpse of the mesmerizing Table Mountain being lapped by tall waves, from the sky above, will make you fall in love with the city. Our representative awaits at the airport to escort you to the hotel, and there you meet the amazing AO family of enthusiastic travellers from across the world.
Start your tour with a visit to the world’s oldest crease on the topography, the magnificent Table Mountain. A cable car ride will take you to the top at 3500 ft for the most glorious view of the city below. The evening is set aside for a visit to the Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela stayed as a prisoner. The ferry ride gets exciting with sightings of whales, dolphins, penguins and seals.
Today you begin your self-drive odyssey in the African roads with the historic Cape Peninsula Tour via Chapman’s Peak. With the peak looming overhead on one side and the wide ocean on the other, the drive gets exciting with each passing block. The drive also takes you through the magnificent oak-lined trails and picturesque vineyards as you reach Stellenbosch, which is known for its Victorian architecture, enticing art galleries, craft shops, and mouth-watering cuisine.
As you are now a little familiar with the African roads, your second day of this self-drive tour will lead you to chase the whales at Hermanus. A sea-side town that spreads out along the shoreline of Walker Bay with majestic mountains overlooking it. We have thrown in a little leisure time in the evening for you to unwind with your new friends in one of the innumerable cafes that dot the city. You can also visit the nearby Fernkloof Nature Reserve or indulge in the pleasure of sipping some fine wine along the famous Hermanus Wine Route.
After two days of criss-crossing the African highroads on premium SUVs, it is leisure day in Hermanus. You can also opt for an optional self-drive tour for Shark Cage Diving at Gansbaai or watch the whales while on a cruise, giving you a chance to spot the magnificent creatures who migrate each year to breed and rear their young
After enjoying the stunning Hermanus, today we drive towards Cape Agulhas. The rugged wilderness along the coastline, the crashing waves where the two oceans meet at this Southern tip of Africa and the stunning sunset makes this drive picture perfect. The highlight of the day is the Game Drive at the Garden Route Game Lodge where you date the elephant, lion, buffalo, rhino and the cheetah.
Another day of excitement behind the wheel will take you through, the Ostrich city, to Knysna along the dramatic with its altitude variance of 581 metres and exciting bends and curves. Knysna offers stunning views of beaches and lagoons. A tour of this quaint city with your new friends is a nice way to wind up the day.
It is pit time for us as we visit the Knysna Elephant Park to meet and greet the gentle giants. Get up-close and take some memorable photographs with the elephants. The evening is blocked for a sunset cruise on the lagoon. Spice it up with endless tales from your past few days of adventure on the African continent.
The last day of this epic adventure will take you to the beautiful city of Port Elizabeth. It is 285 km of pure driving magic. You can stop along the way to take an optional tour of the stunning Bloukrans Bridge that stands mighty over the scenic river set in a precarious gorge. For adrenaline junkies, a 216 metre bungee jump off this bridge is a must-do. Up next on the list of adventures, we stop at Tsitsikamma National Park for a hiking tour before we pull the hand break for the last time at this ‘Queen’s’ city.
After days of driving through the amazing tapestry of mountains, beaches, lagoons, vibrant cities and wide open countryside, it is time to bid adieu to South Africa. However, besides the many Insta perfect photos, you take along many special memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.

For such journeys, we make all necessary travel arrangements including hotel bookings, permits, excursions and if required, we can send a support team with the group.
We organize expeditions all around the world in 6 continents every year. We organize fly-and-drive expeditions in Jordan, Russia, Iceland, Alaska, Mongolia, South America, Africa and Australia where you don’t need to bring a vehicle as the vehicle is included in the package.
Since 2012, we have been proudly putting together offbeat and luxury bespoke tours all around the world for solo travellers, families, couples and senior citizens who come from different walks of life and comprise of entrepreneurs, professionals, industrialists, doctors, creative minds etc. mostly aged 35 years & above.
Our expeditions are ideal for solo travellers (male and female) and families with kids. The average male and female ratio on most of our expeditions is 60:40. Families, couples and senior citizens join us frequently in all kinds of expeditions.
